The
Speed Series, a large body of drawings, paintings and prints, used coloring books and drawings from pop-up windows on the Hot Wheels website to study the sign for speed, the little poofs of smoke generally used to imply movement. This body of work sought to still a sign used to imply movement, create a strong sense of depth and illusion of space, and take something mundane, and make it beautiful.
